Terms of Use
Last updated: 23 October 2026
These terms apply to your use of bbarcik.com and its online features. They also serve as the terms for electronic services required by Polish law (regulamin under the Act of 18 July 2002 on Providing Services by Electronic Means). By using the site you accept them.
1. Who runs this site
bbarcik.com is run by Bartłomiej Barcik, trading as Bartłomiej Barcik Consulting, Piaseczno, Poland, NIP 1231485268 ("I", "me"). Contact: bart@bbarcik.com.
2. What the site offers
The site provides these free electronic services:
- Browsing: reading the pages, case studies and articles.
- Contact form: sending me a message about your project.
- New articles by email: getting an email when a new article is published.
Consulting work itself is not provided through the site. Every engagement is agreed separately in writing (proposal, contract or order), and those terms take precedence over these.
3. Technical requirements
You need an internet-connected device, a current version of a common web browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge) with JavaScript enabled, and, for the forms, an active email address.
4. Starting and ending the services
- Browsing starts when you open the site and ends when you leave it.
- The contact form service is provided once, when you send the form.
- New articles by email starts when you subscribe and ends when you unsubscribe, using the link in any email or by writing to bart@bbarcik.com. You can end it at any time, free of charge.
I may stop providing a service, for example by closing the email list, with notice by email to subscribers.
5. Your responsibilities
Please don't submit unlawful content, content that infringes others' rights, spam or malicious code, or other people's personal data without a legal basis. Don't try to interfere with the site's operation or security.
6. No professional advice, no guaranteed results
Articles, case studies, frameworks and other content on the site are general information. They are not advice for your specific situation, and acting on them is your decision.
Search engines and AI systems are run by third parties and change often. Case studies describe past results for specific clients, measured over the stated period with the stated tools. They don't promise the same results for you. Clients in case studies are anonymised.
7. Intellectual property
The site's content, including texts, graphics, the Organic Value Chain framework and its diagrams, is protected by copyright and belongs to me unless stated otherwise. You may read it, share links to it and quote short passages with attribution and a link. Any other copying, republishing or commercial use needs my written permission. Third-party names and logos belong to their owners and appear only to identify companies I have worked with.
8. Links to other sites
The site links to sites I don't control, such as LinkedIn. I'm not responsible for their content or practices.
9. Liability
I take reasonable care to keep the site accurate and available, but I don't guarantee that it is error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, I'm not liable for losses arising from use of the site's free content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for damage caused intentionally, and nothing limits the mandatory rights of consumers.
10. Complaints
If something about the site's services doesn't work as described, email bart@bbarcik.com with a short description of the problem and your contact details. I'll reply within 14 days.
11. Privacy
How I handle personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to these terms
I may update these terms, for example when the site's services change. Changes apply from the date shown at the top. Subscribers to new articles by email will be told by email about changes that affect them, at least 7 days before they apply.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Polish law. Disputes with businesses go to the court with jurisdiction over my registered address. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and may bring a claim in your local court.
